Lakeside Volunteer Rescue Squad has a remarkable fleet of five ambulances and one quick response vehicle. The five ambulances have a chassis produced by Ford. Our ambulances are based from a van chassis and are classified as type three ambulances.
Each ambulance has multiple exterior and interior compartments to store all of our equipment which is used to help patients in
their time of need. Our ambulances
carry one Stryker stretcher in each ambulance. The ambulances are also equipped with IV warmers to ensure proper fluid
temperature. In order to stay on the cutting edge, Lakeside has recently purchased an Autopulse. This is a device used to perform
automated CPR during a cardiac arrest. Our quick response vehicle
(QRV) is a 2005 Chevrolet Trail Blazer. This vehicle is used to transport an Advanced Life Support provider
quickly to any scene. Our
QRV is equipped with advance lifesaving equipment
and carries an abundance of medical
supplies as well. |
