Lakeside Volunteer Rescue Squad has a remarkable fleet of five ambulances and one quick response vehicle. The five ambulances have a chassis produced by Ford. Our ambulances are based from a van chassis and are classified as type three ambulances. The ambulance has multiple exterior and interior compartments to store all of our equipment which is used to help patients in there time of need. Our ambulances have one Stryker stretcher in each ambulance. The ambulances are also equipped with IV warmers to ensure proper fluid replacement. In order to stay on the cutting edge, Lakeside has recently purchased an Autopulse. This is a device used to perform CPR during a cardiac arrest. Our quick response vehicle is a 2005 Chevrolet Trail Blazer which was purchased this year. This vehicle is used to transport an Advanced Life Support provider to any scene. The Trail Blazer carries four passengers and an abundance of medical supplies. It is also equipped with advance lifesaving equipment as well. |
